What an exciting 2009 thus far. Though products are here and doing well, I'm juggling 3-4 reality shows, a few trips to Vegas, radio interviews etc.
Though reality shows are a big kick for everyone to enjoy, I do have a few thoughts. The real reality behind make-over shows is that many people will never make it to Los Angeles, New York, or Miami for their own make-over. I hope these quick tips help bridge the gap between the couch - and the red carpet.
1. Don't be overwhelmed by the outcomes on reality make-over shows . Countless weeks and months go into prepping, planning, making contacts, and lots of off-camera work that most people never see.
2. You can have your own "make-over" at home by giving yourself just a few minutes a day to take care of yourself, brush your hair, put on make-up, or for the guys - giving yourself a close shave in the mornings before work.
3. You deserve to look and feel great and you don't have to be on a make-over show to do so. Practice makes perfect whether it's styling your hair, applying make-up, or learning which pieces of clothing go together.
You are worth that extra few minutes a day. Give yourself a little TLC each and every day, and enjoy your own make-over experience.
For quick and easy make-up: Apply mascara, gloss & cheeks. While you may not have the most time in the mornings for hour-long perfection, these 3 easy products give you just enough glow to help you l ook & feel great.
For quick and easy hair: I've always said that the classic ponytail will get you from a day at the park to an evening on Park Avenue. Look at some of my educational videos on youtube (www.youtube.com/billylowe310) and see for yourself how easy it can be.
For quick and easy wardrobe: Sort and arrange your garments ahead of time. Hang like items in the closet for quick and easy reaches in the mornings.
It really is that simple.
